I Made $1.2M Targeting These Keywords In Google Ads Last Year

If you’re using Google Search ads for your business, it’s important to distinguish between these 3 types of keywords so you don’t waste ad spend:

  • Buyer intent keywords - “best snoring mouthpiece”

  • Information seeking keywords - “what causes snoring”

  • Problem solving keywords - “how to stop snoring naturally”

Each keyword represents a different area of the customer journey. Ideally you want to be targeting buyer intent keywords because they’re already at the bottom of the funnel ready to convert.

You ideally want to AVOID information seeking keywords, unless you’ve built out specific landing pages to nurture those potential customers, feeding them the info they’re looking for.
